Hi, Suparna, congrats on your little one arriving in September! Thank you for reaching out about daytime postpartum support. I am sick with a sore throat this week so will not be able to call until next week but wanted to touch base as soon as I got your message. To help me learn a bit more about your family, could you please respond to the below questions? I am also including a bit more about me. What city are you located in? Is this your first baby? What are your birth plans? What are you looking for in a postpartum doula? Any questions for me? A bit more about me: I am a postpartum educator & doula, lactation educator counselor, and infant massage instructor with 5 kiddos of my own. I live in Lathrop but travel within 45-60 minutes (Fremont/Newark being the furthest) to support families through their postpartum transition. Each family's needs are different so I might teach baby holding and feeding with one family, help put baby items together for another family, ensure they are eating light snacks or simple meals, or help with nursery organization and laundry. My primary focus is emotional and physical support of the new family as a whole — answering questions, teaching, finding resources so that the family gets through the transition feeling confident on their own once our time comes to a close. But, when time allows and I see that something like laundry or dishes is stressing the new family out I will help with that if not find a soultion for them to figure it out on a longer term basis (depending on what is needed most). My website is navigatingparenthood.com and I recently hosted a few virtual events that are helpful for new families (links below). https://courses.navigatingparenthood.com/famsummit/ https://www.navigatingparenthood.com/breastfeeding-summit/ https://www.navigatingparenthood.com/ties-event/ Have a great weekend! Sure. We are on the crow canyon road. Also, it would be great if you could mention your payment rates. Do you charge by the hour or it is for a certain number of hours in bulk? Thanks!
