Hello! I’m planning to deliver my first baby within the next few weeks and am looking for someone who could visit my home and help us after we’re discharged home. Right now we are anticipating a scheduled c section the week of 11/18-11/22, but will know more after my next ultrasound next week. Thank you in advance. I do have Aetna insurance.

Hi Shelby, I would be happy to help! I bill in-network for most Aetna PPO plans. It’s always good to check online or call to make sure you are covered. Aetna usually provides 6 home-visits. I recommend starting with a prenatal visit to create a game plan for right after your c-section. That way we are not meeting for the first time while you are in your new baby bubble. Then we have 5 appointments to use however you need after your little one arrives. It might be that breastfeeding is complex and you need all the appointments or that you just need a check up or two like you are getting with your pediatrician or OB. Happy to help!
