My journey as a doula began in 2019, in which I started working under another doula who was my mentor. I fell in love with birth-work and decided to take my profession a step further by taking my postpartum training with DONA International and then finally certified as a birth doula with ProDoula. supporting people on the path to healing.

Work experience

While in college, I started my business, Medicine of Essence, which was formally hosting yoga sessions and selling handcrafted body products. Through hosting yoga sessions I got the pleasure to work with many postpartum mothers and prenatal clients that took my classes to either bring a sense of tranquility to mind and body, or prepare for childbirth.
