- Tailored core and pelvic floor rehab plans for women who are pregnant, newly post-birth or may have been experiencing symptoms for several years after having children
Support during pregnancy:
- Strategies to support you during pregnancy and ensure you can complete the tasks you want or need to do each day
Returning to work:
- Develop plans and work on strategies to ensure the transition back to work is as smooth and worry-free as possible
- This can include planning for feeding your baby, timing of transition back to work, liaising with your employer and many other options
Birth planning:
- Offer support with thinking through your birth preferences, giving ideas for comfort measures during labor, documenting your preferences and ensuring healthcare staff work with you to adhere to your wishes
Planning for the post-birth period:
- Work with parents to develop a post-birth plan for ensuring adequate nutrition, finding a support network, reintegrating valued activities into your day, and sleep strategies
- Education on infant behavior and development so parents can develop realistic expectations for the post-birth period
Setting Up Your Home For Parenting:
- Assess the home environment and provide recommendations on how to set up your diaper changing area, feeding station, stroller and baby carrier to avoid injury
