Everybody is different, every Mama, partner, baby and birth respond to labor in a multitude of emotions, intensity levels, sounds, feelings and vibrations. It is my job to offer options; to elucidate for your family, throughout your labor and the birth of your baby, what your choices are in that moment. As you & your baby begin to labor, I might:

- Suggest various positions for you to get as comfortable as possible
- Show your partner how to massage your back
- Offer my TENS unit for comfort & relaxation
- Encourage you to experiment with hydro therapy
- Answer questions regarding the physiology & hormonal biology of birth
- Use my rebozo as you breathe through a labor surge
- Help you stay hydrated
- Talk you through visualizations to help quiet & focus your mind
- Be present for you & your partner
- Offer information, guidance & grounding support
Postpartum Doula
I take postpartum care seriously in tending to BOTH members of the mother-baby dyad. Guiding you in newborn care is the norm for postpartum doula support, and I am also uniquely trained to care for mothers' healing postpartum. I incorporate postpartum healing traditions from around the world to help the new mother feel empowered, nourished and rejuvenated in the unique position of healing from any birth experience and feeding and caring for a newborn baby. Services available include:
